He was awarded the title of ‘The Youth Icon’ in 2007 – an honour presented to him by the biggest award ceremony in Pakistan. His second album ‘> Masti ’ that came out in 2007 was another smash hit.

In the span of his 7 year career as a prominent pop star, Ali has achieved many prestigious awards of the highest honour starting from ‘Best Album 2003’ to ‘Best Male Artist’ for 2008 MTV awards. Ali has been on the covers of many fashion and music magazines and premier brands.

Ali Zafar also tried his hand at acting and succeeded phenomenally with his first Bollywood movie ‘Tere bin Laden’ in which he played the lead. Ali is now all set to star in his second film this year - his very first Yash Raj Production.
