Mobilink’s pioneering role in establishing a series of sustainable people-focused Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives was recently recognized at the 2nd Helpline Trust CSR Awards held in Karachi. The theme this year was ‘Putting the Consumer First’.   

Helpline Trust, established in 1994, focuses on promoting good governance, health, education and improving consumer rights. Through these awards the organization recognizes companies (large and small) that have in place socially responsible practices and ethical initiatives that serve to protect and benefit consumers.

CSR at Mobilink is a top priority, being one of our five business excellence values. Mobilink has demonstrated its commitment to recognizing the needs and requirements of all consumers, including marginalized groups such as the vision impaired, unemployed and those with little or no access to information. As a socially responsible company we are committed to sharing the benefits of developments in mobile communications technology as widely as possible having expanded our CSR program to reach out to those most in need. 

Out of the 18 recipients of the 2nd Helpline Trust CSR Awards, Mobilink was also awarded the ‘Certificate of Merit’ for securing the highest points as judged by the award’s panel of experts. This distinction is a result of the various innovative CSR projects currently being undertaken by Mobilink including Mobilink Voice-Service-to-Teach, Mobilink PCO Solution and Mobilink Kisan Service.
