Jazz Cricket Hungama brings out the best in Gujranwala Cricketers
| Gujranwala: October 26, 2010 – Mobilink, Pakistan’s Market leader in cellular services and part of Orascom Telecom Holding has initiated a nation-wide cricket tournament titled “Jazz Cricket Hungama.” One of the tournaments venues was Gujranwala where 16 talented and enthusiastic young cricket teams of the city were pitted against one another. Many remarkable performances were displayed by young players who were competing to earn the status of cricket champions of Gujranwala. |

As per the format determined, the 16 teams played these matches on a knock-out basis. The day/night schedule helped to ensure maximum participation by the players as well as the spectators. At the conclusion of this tournament, the Aroop team from Gujranwala city took the top position and the title of ‘Cricket Champions of Gujranwala’. Cash prizes and CD players were presented to the winning team and players that displayed outstanding performances while the spectators got a chance to win lots of scratch cards through lucky draw . |
