Mobilink and Box Office bring “Star Trek” to Pakistan

Karachi,  May 14 2009: – Mobilink, the country’s market leader in cellular communication services and a subsidiary of Orascom Telecom; along with Box Office, Pakistan’s leading distributor of international movies, announced the official launch of the latest blockbuster movie “Star Trek” in Pakistan.

Talking about the movie, Bilal Munir Sheikh, Vice President Marketing, Mobilink stated, “Star Trek is yet another addition to our blockbuster hit movies library which we have released with Box office. Mobilink will continue to provide genuine quality family entertainment to further strengthen the cine-going as an avenue of recreation.” 

Interestingly, Pakistan will be the first country in the South-Asian region to release this film. The cast of the new “Star Trek” also includes Farhan Tahir, a Pakistani born actor, in the role of “Nero”. This will be Farhan’s second appearance after “Iron-Man”.
