Mobilink and Fire Records unveil new album of Strings

Karachi: May 19, 2008 – Mobilink in collaboration with Fire Records today announced the exclusive sponsorship and launch of the new album of pop group Strings “Koee Aanay Wala Hai”. Representatives of Mobilink, Fire Records and the band were present to answer media queries and talk about their long awaited album.

Pakistan has come to dominate the pop music scene in the region since the phenomenal success and acceptance of the Nazia-Zoheb duo. Unlike situational and film music, our pop singers have emerged successfully to uplift the music scene in Pakistan. This is further seen from the great successes and fan-following our artists have amassed both across the border and internationally. From maestros to pop stars, they have gained acclaim and respect in the most competitive of environments.

While speaking at the press conference Chief Operating Officer Fire Records Dr. Akber Yezdani stated, “It’s our endeavor to introduce quality music to the people that is accepted across all geographical boundaries.
