Mobilink honored at the first-ever SAMENA Awards

ISLAMABAD:November 04, 2008 – Mobilink, the country’s market leader in cellular communication with more than 30 million customers and part of the Orascom Telecom Group, today announced the distinction of being awarded the “Best Mobile Line Operator” at the first-ever SAMENA Telecom Award held in Jordan.

Mobilink is the first recipient of the “Best Mobile Line Operator” Award at the SAMENA Telecom Awards organized by SAMENA Telecommunications Council. The awards aim to honor the leading telecom companies and representatives in recognition of their contribution to the telecoms industry in the SAMENA region which includes South Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa.
