17th Mobilink All-Pakistan Multan Open Golf Championship 2007 from March 9
Multan: March 08, 2007 - Mobilink, Pakistan's leading cellular service and part of the Orascom Telecom Group has more than 23 million family members, today announced its sponsorship of the 17th Mobilink All-Pakistan Multan Open Golf Championship.
The All-Pakistan Multan Open Golf Championship is one of the premier tournaments on the national golfing calendar in the country and is being sponsored exclusively by Mobilink. Prominent golfers from within and outside the country are expected to compete for the top slots of the tournament.
The opening ceremony and tee-off of the tournament will take place on Friday, March 9, 2007 at 9.00 a.m. at the lush green plains of the Multan Golf Club in Fort Colony. The Regional Commercial Director, Mobilink, Mr. Abdul Muqeet Farid will inaugurate the championship. The 3-day Championship is expected to conclude with a colorful ceremony on Sunday, March 11 to be followed by a gala dinner and a night of song & music.
The President of the Multan Golf Club, Brig. Khalid Mehmood while talking to the media in Multan said, "The 17th Mobilink All-Pakistan Multan Open Golf Championship 2007 is one of the well-participated tournaments with prolific golfers from all over the country, including some from the international circuit, teeing-off to win the coveted Championship.
