Mobilink 'Hunt for Heroes' Program reaches Islamabad/Rawalpindi

Islamabad - 18 October 2007: Mobilink, the country's leader in cellular service with over 28 million customers which had recently announced its countrywide program for the Hunt for Future Cricket Heroes of Pakistan; is launching its talent camp in Islamabad.

The trials, which concluded successfully in the Northern Areas recently, will take place from 19th - 28th October at the Diamond Cricket Ground, G8 Islamabad. The talent search is the first of its kind in the country, exposing the raw flair of cricketers from the twin cities. The 10-day program will comprise of short listing of the talent-pool in the first 2 days, coaching by renowned veterans in the next 5 days and end with 3 days of One-Day matches where the probable recruits will be tested one-game at a time.

Former cricket celebrities Aqib Javed and Haroon Rashid and other famous cricketers will play key roles in these thrilling trials, imparting expertise and cricketing tips to these aspiring cricketers of Islamabad/Rawalpindi. The 'Mobilink Hunt for Heroes' program is the largest cricketing talent exercise in the history of Pakistan.

The cricket trials are free to watch at the Diamond cricket ground in Islamabad and Mobilink welcomes families to come and see the search for the future superstars of Pakistan Cricket.
