Wireless broadband, commonly known as WiFi (short form for Wireless Fidelity) allows customers to access the Internet wirelessly at high-speeds from their laptop or PDA at major public wireless hubs and hotspots. With wireless broadband, you can shop online, send emails, chat with friends on the Internet, and do many Internet-related activities at any location within the wireless-enabled environment.

Note: Additional equipment such as a wireless PCMCIA card may be required in order to access the wireless broadband.

Mobilink's new Wifi partnership with StarHub Singapore allows all international Mobilink roamers traveling to Singapore free WiFi access at all StarHub Wifi hotspots.

All you need to do is to select StarHub as a mobile network when roaming in Singapore and you will receive an SMS with instructions on how to log in to have access to Wifi. In case you do not get the SMS, just write *9434 and then press send to get a user ID and password to enjoy unlimited WiFi at all StarHub hotpots.

StarHub offers an extensive coverage of more than 300 hotspots for wireless surfing island-wide through StarHub hotspots such as Changi Airport, s City, and all The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® outlets. <

By selecting StarHub as your mobile network while roaming in Singapore, you will receive an SMS detailing how to log on to the WiFi network. In case you do not get the SMS, dial *9434 followed by send to obtain a user ID and password.

When you launch your Internet browser or email software you will be directed to the "Welcome Page" where you will need to type in your User-ID and password. Upon authentication, a default web page will be launched and you can start surfing wirelessly from this point.

Remember to logout after the session by typing "http://logout." in the address bar of the browser.
